Bedazzled D

One of Ryan's friends fabricated our gate, and he put a giant D on it as a joke. But we liked how it made us feel like wanna-be millionaires, so we kept it. Now, a few years later, we came home from vacation to find it painted gold and bedazzled. I think it's awesome, and you couldn't pay me enough to paint over it, but I can't help wondering what was going through the person's mind who did it: "Hm, I think I know how to help Schmath and Ryan make their white trash home a little more ritzy." Or "Have you seen that pretentious D on Ryan's fence? That thing is just begging for gold and sparkles!" Or "I know exactly what to get them for Christmas! Let's bedazzle their house! Wait, it's too big. Let's do the gate! Still too big. The D!" Anyway, it's nice to know that people are thinking of us enough to notice our awesome D and give it a little love. Sometimes, when life starts to get a little serious, something exciting like this happens and reminds me that life is fun. I'm glad I got the bedazzled D that I never knew I was missing.

Anyone want to fess up? Here are my guesses: 1. Mandy-because she's good at bedazzling. 2. The Nakayas-cuz they're good at painting 3. Matt and Celeste-because they always give awesome Christmas presents. 4. The whole Davis family-because we skipped town for Christmas. 5. One of Ryan's friends-because Ryan's a dude, so he shouldn't like sparkles, so it would be funny if his gate was girly.
