Lando is terrified of thunder. When he hears it, he walks around the house with his limbs trembling and his tail between his legs, trying to find some tiny hole to squeeze into. Tonight, as Lando trembled through the kitchen, I told Hanne, "Lando's a big scaredy-cat. He's scared of thunder."
Hanne piped in, "I'm scared of thunder too."
"You're a big scaredy-cat too?" I asked.
"Yeah," she said, "I'm a big, scary cat. I'm a hungry, big, scary cat!" Then worry crept into her voice, "Big scary cat come get us?"
"No," I reassured her.
"Big scary cat nice. Don't worry, Lando. Big, scary cat away," Hanne said, trying to convince herself. Then after chewing her bread for a few seconds, Hanne got that worried look back in her eye. "I'm scared of big, scary cat. Lando scared of big, scary cat. Big, scary cat come get us, Mom!"
Ever since, I've been trying to convince Hanne that there is no actual big, scary cat, but she's fixated on it. After I tucked her in, she clung to my arm like a baby monkey and wouldn't let me leave, so we said a prayer, asking Heavenly Father to keep her safe from the big, scary cat. Afterwards, she kept saying, "Heavenly Father save me," and I thought we were out of the woods, but as I got up to leave, Hanne's little fingers grasped onto my arm for dear life. I told her I would guard the door to make sure no cats come in. She seemed to think that was important, and I finally escaped.
I feel sorry for poor Hanne, alone in her bed, imagining big, scary cats coming to get her. What a horrible thing to be afraid of!

I don't know where you found the photo, but that's pretty much the way I feel about cats.
Dru would like it if all cats were eliminated from this planet, mysteriously.
Poor Hanne.
Let's just try not to bring it up again and hope for the best.
What a funny story.
My daughter saw your picture and really wanted to know what the huge cat was doing with all those cars.
Oh, poor Hanne! (Craig would never admit it, but I think cats are actually his favorite animal.) Hmmm, maybe you could go visit someone who has baby kittens.(?) Hey, better yet, come see us! She can hang out with the vet, himself!
